When 11.11.11 arrives

Post » Sat Jul 23, 2011 6:37 am

Play until my eyes fall out. Then, come to the realization how exhausting it's been to browse forums, news, and videos for almost the entire year prior. Then, ill wish they had waited to this year's E3 to announce this game, instead of November (or december?) 2010. Seeing the same info over and over and over is ridiculous.

1. Get all my other responsibilities out of the way. (No classes on Fridays regardless)
2. Go to futureshop and buy the game (If I didn't just preorder beforehand, haven't yet)
3. Buy some mead.
4. Go home.
5. Play Skyrim and drink said mead.
6. Wake up hung over on Sunday to find a bloody claymore in my bed.

It's not that exciting to get hung like a claymore?

I will be at EB Games (same thing as GameStop) at midnight for release. I will then proceed to drive home cautiously in the November weather of Canada's prairies. Best case scenario... I don't lose control of my car on the ice and die on the way there or on the way home. I will then read the manual, while making sure to devoid my bowels of anything that might be there, and then sleep soundly for 8-10 hours. I will then awake, refreshed, and proceed to play Skyrim for a very extreme amount of time.

I already took that Friday off, so I'll be playing Skyrim from around midnight (after the midnight release...) until fatigue makes me sleep. lol

I intend to treat Skyrim the same as all my other games. I'm gonna play it the first night until my eyes bleed, then I'll just play a few hours a day afterwards, because my brothers will want to play it, and other games like Saints Row 3, MW3, Uncharted 3 and BF3 so I'll have to share. I hate being a teenager and having siblings.
Also am I the only one who's noticed all the 3's for the new games?

on 11.11.11 I will wake up when the local gamestop opens, drive over and pick it up immediately, then come home and play until nightfall, when I will smoke a fat, celebratory blunt and play allll night. Rinse, lather, repeat.

My house, where my xbox and 56 inch 1080i tv are, is in New Hampshire, and right now I'm working and living in Montana on a farm. I'm moving here permanently, but I'm taking a vacation from 11.11.11 until I need some fresh air again. :) 111 days!

Five years ago, I'd have centered the day around Skyrim. Now it all depends on what's going on that day for me. I'll play Skyrim on or near launch, but I don't have the same launch day hype as I used to get. I'm still incredibly hyped about it, just not about the exact moment it comes out.

My husband won't see me for months on end. I will be holed up in my office/game room with my recliner and a never ending coffee pot. :)

If Nibiru doesn't arrive, enjoy Skyrim; if Nibiru does arrive, buy a quality pair of aspestos underpants and still enjoy Skyrim! :celebration:

Don't worry Nibiru won't arrive, although the whole economy may have crashed by then, and if by chance it does arrive, at least we can look forward to a spectacular Guy Fawkes display on November 5th without cheap fireworks?

How society just feeds off of lies and mass hysteria ...

With any luck, when 11.11.11 arrives i'll already be playing it having received my pre-order the day before.

On the 10th though, before it arrives, i'm going to fill my room with a load of food, and energy drinks with high caffeine content.

I don't understand why games don't come out on Fridays or Saturdays. It pisses me off so much every time a game comes out I have school and/or work the next day. :flame:

When 11.11.11 arrives someone will probably end up filing a missing persons report, because my ass is gonna disappear for a while.

Unseal the packaging, open the case, pick up the disc, insert into PC, install, restart PC, then play Skyrim.
