Those games are all probably more popular than Crysis 2. If Crysis 2 required steam to play it wouldnt even be in the top 30 games.

Relax. Andrew (CatalystCreator) said in a tweet it'll take time to find optimizations for the game.

Also, a new driver is coming out next week.

Either way, I don't see any performance problems with the cards. They seem just right to me for now.

Yea, everyone please continue to buy ATI, so that Nvidia has competition. I purchased a ATI card 3 years ago and it's been the most pain in the ass, the most stuttering POS to deal with ever to get anything to run right and smoothly, not to mention AA is always broken on EVERYTHING. I'm going back to green when Kepler or Maxwell comes out.. Fu*K ATI, and by all means, everyone, buy ATI so that my next Nvidia card will be cheaper.

Even if they were if you actually read that all they done is disable crossfire and AA for those games instead of fixing whatever issues they have. Totally shoddy support from a developer that should be doing more to get ATI cards back in the game.

Also while crysis 2 isn't the most popular game out there it has been over the last few months one of the most anticipated games around especially with the release of dx11. Having good crossfire scaling "with AA" is a must IMO, as well as better driver-level optimization for crysis 2 which I doubt we'll see in the 11.7 driver next week, I guess we'll see even more spider solitaire optimizations though.

What does the anticipation have to do with anything? The Alien vs Predator movie was highly anticipated and it was god damn horrible. The Crysis franchise has a small following and an even smaller playerbase, there is no denying that. Crytek/EA hyped everything up pre-release shoving a trailer out every week. Ive never seen a game have TWENTY SEVEN pre-release trailers and videos before.

Also a spider solitaire improvement would benefit a lot more people than a Crysis 2 one would. If they want to get "ATI cards back in the game" they should focus on games that dont have a dwindling player count and ones that will last longer than a year. Crysis 2 hits 1,200 players at peak time. As soon as the next set of modern FPS games roll out Crysis 2 is going to a huge hit in player count and we all know it.

Apparently one of the latest drivers/CAP's improved crossfire support and optimizations for solitaire, minesweeper etc I'm not kidding, there's a thread on guru3D on about it.

Yet no rush to improve performance for many of the latest games including crysis 2.
