Why so much hate against this weapons, L-TAG and JAW? These weapons are in the game, so they can be used like any other weapon. They don't make you invincible, don't get you on top of the scoreboard, unless you are a good player. And if you are good, you can be on top with any weapon.
The L-Tag is a strategical weapon, very usefull in a team, in Crash Site games, for support. Good in long ranges and closed spaces, hard to kill someone with it in open spaces and at close range.
JAW or a Frag grenade... what's the difference; you will be killed anyway. And I think the Frag is more powerfull; it has a larger kill range.

There are many people who try to kick L-Tag players. Cut it. If server permits it, let it be.

And remember: players who use L-Tag, they just want to finish the assesment and get the dog tag for this weapon. So, let them play. I don't think there is a player so attached to this weapon, that is playing all the time with L-Tag.

I agree, they're weapons in the game so there should be no 'rulez' regarding what can and can't be used.

The L-TAG is xxxxinx annoying though - boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. It should be part of the explosives class and have a maximum of 5 rounds till next respawn!

The rocket has fallen very far from what it was, hardly worth mentioning now.

The ltag is just loud and annoying, kinda like if someone had a bunch of vuvuzelas that explode all over the place. Not to mention the ONLY time it is useful is for capping a crashsite, everything else is garbage.

It's so hard to kill with the LTag, most LTag players just spam it and get fluke kills

I love using C4 with Side Pack though (so you get 2 C4s)

I've seen people use the L-tag properly and get a kill with every grenade, there is no problem with the L-tag also the Jaw has been nerfed so bad there is no point in disallowin it frag grenades are a much larger threat. Jaw barely even kills in 1 hit now.

My thoughts on 'noob weapons' is that the ones who want them banned are usually the ones getting blown up by them all the time. My advice? Stop getting blown up by them.

The JAW is soo useless against multiple enemies after the patch. If you get killed, it's often a direct hit, have you ever tried directly hitting somebody with the JAW, it's almost impossible.

Yes, these are noob tubes, and yes they are almost useless.
It's not about the weapon, it's about the people that use it: they ruin the whole game for everybody only to go barely positive. It's a supplementing equipment, not a main weapon.
There's a game for people like you, it's called Modern Warfare 2 - you are welcome to not use guns in that shooter.
Also Quake could be your thing, but I predict you'll get your butt handed to you...

I would kick you too, but I would have displayed in the server description/title what's allowed and what isn't... And of course warn you before I kick/ban, that's the least, since you do have a point too.

Personally I think the L-Tag is annoying too, but the way I look @ it is, if the server allows it, then deal with it, if the server rules say don't use it, then don't use it. If someone is paying for a server, they have the right to set the rules down. As for the Jaw, I don't see the big deal about it, it's not like you can spam with it or anything.
