Reloading game - suggestions

Post » Sun Jul 24, 2011 4:02 pm

Hi there - I lost my HD and so lost all of my Fallout NV stuff. I only have the original (no expansions or upgrades/mods).

I am going to start over and wondered what you would recommend = Expansions? Worth loading? What order or does it matter?

I would like new housing - if that is in any of them - something NOT in town or casino. I set-up my original home just across from the starter area saloon. It worked out really well but I would love something new.

Any suggestions or tips for re-starting would be helpful - tips you found while playing that I may not remember, may be new or even mods you would recommend.

THANKS!

Edit to add - PC version

Check the Nexus, go thru the most endorsed files, download all that sounds nice.

Install BOSS for load order.
FOMM +NVSE is a must have too

Wouldn't hurt to get the pfficial DLCs as well

But yeah FOMM is a must as well NVSE, and BOSS.

Also check the Latest Files every few days, some users upload pretty good files that don't really become known.
