Dovahkiin origins?

Now from what I understand to be "Dragonborn" you either are
1. Favored by the Nine Divines
2. Related to Tiber Septim
3. ??? (is there a another way?)

Now any race can be "Dragonborn" but it is rare.

I couldn't help but maybe think that the Dovahkiin is infact related to the Septims via

"...one of these was the War of the Red Diamond wherein Skyrim sided with Queen Potema against the Empire. The civil war tore the Empire apart and it would take seventeen long years before Potema was finally defeated. As a result of this war there is a strong underground movement called the Horme that believes Potema and her deposed son of Uriel III to be the last of Tiber Septim's true blood and under that principle lead raids against Imperial interests in the province..."

Now of course it is questionable (very much so) because we are not entirely sure that they are dead, I could find nothing saying so at least. Maybe Uriel found that "Lusty Argonian Maid" or some Nord wench etc. or one of his ancestors did, and since the offspring take the appearance of their mother this could explain why your character is "X" race.

Your thoughts and opinions?

You know you've just written something with more potential to be a good plot than anything Bethesda has managed to come up with since Oblivion?

Which probably means it's something else ._.

Apparently Dragon Born (The PC) has the soul of a dragon, so I'm thinking it's touched by the divines.

...In all the right places. :hubbahubba:

You don't have to be a relative to tiber septim. there were other people blessed to be dragonborn at that time who you can be a descendant of.

Well being dragonborn is simply to be born with the soul of a dragon ( chosen by the soul itself maybe )

if you have played half-life saga, you know how they handle the series after the first game.

they dont tell the player what has happened because they expect him/you to know.....like 9/11 I dont tell you what it is because you live in this world and so I expect you to know what happened.
so maybe not everything is told via lore or it's is not always right. like our history is written by the victorious not the loosing side.......good example is WW2 ALL the winning sides got their actions justified.
or maybe the reason there is other dragonbr is something so important and a reason that has been there for all the time that those who still remember don't care.....OR it is a mystery
