Nevermind the player breaking out of prison, the Imperial Watch have a shortage of shackles and just want their wrist irons back?
Since the wrist irons aren't worth anything, I guess you can't fence them and buy them back... Are they already enchanted? If not enchanting them should remove the red hand icon. Or if you enchanted them, then they should already be worth something, so just fence them and then buy them back to remove the red hand if it's that annoying.
