Oblivion Goty wont launch : IV

My Oblivion GOTY on steam wont launch past the splash screen, it just tells me it stopped working. I have no problems with my non steam version. I have no mods installed. Running windows 7 32 bit, 6 gig ram (unoptimized as its still 32 i'm to lazy to go to 64) intel core duo radeon hd 4670

Is Steam installed in the Program Files directory?

Yes, but I recently reinstalled it to my X drive for more space, Oblv was installed on that drive and has been defraged and and verified

Did you try deleting the Oblivion.ini file located in My documents>My Games>Oblivion? Or just renaming it?

Doesn't actually exist as this drive only has program files right now and since it wont launch it wont make those folders

Looks like deleting that folder fixed it, thank you very much

Eh it depends. I have just been using OOO, MMM, and Fran's in my latest build. Thats more of a question for the mod forum though.
Also, glad to hear it worked out.
