Oh, How I feel proud about myself

Not sure about this, but there is a lot I'm not sure about in Fallout. I was wandering around ye old Capiltal Wasteland, when I cam to bigtown. I decided to help the enclave with my enclave character by cleansing the town. I literally kill the people in 5 seconds. So I decide to go to the back of big town. First off I see a destroyed sentrybot and protectron, thought that was weird, but not the special thing. Then I check a mailbox and find a letter from Vault-Tec. I think cool. After reading it, it basically said, about widley speculated Canada, that there was at least one Vault there. So I look it up on the Vault just for this.

Dear Safety-Conscious Citizen -
We are writing to inform you that your family was not selected for inclusion in your chosen Vault-Tec facility. Your deposit has been retained, and your application added to a waiting list for your preferred Vault. In the interest of your family's security in the event of a minor nuclear event, please consider relocating to one of these areas, where Vault-Tec facilities are available without a waiting list:

For a full list of Vault-Tec facilities with available accommodations, in exciting locales such as Oklahoma and newly-annexed Canada, contact your local Vault-Tec representative!
Vault-Tec wishes you and your family the best of luck in the uncertain future. Best regards;
Vault-Tec
Public Relations Dept
Washington, DC

As far as I can tell, it basically confirms that there is at least one vault in Canada.

Just thought I'd post it, because I've seen people who don't think there is anything in Canada, I was one until I read this.

Does that portend that FO4 is set in Oklahoma? :spotted owl:

I'm hoping for a few wastelands the size of NV, connected by trains, caravnas, whathave you.

That way we could see what's going on in a few places.

I really hope they just shoot for the moon with the next game.

But they'll probably save it for future games and/or DLC.

Canada was annexed in 2076, Vaults took about 6/7 years to build so... maybe it was another type of shelter like the Series 1000?

It was actually completely under US control by then, two suggestion threads ago I suggested that would probably be in Canda...

Glad, this is making as much speculation as it as, I honestly thought there would be 3 posts before it was ignored.

Does that portend that FO4 is set in Oklahoma?

I thought the same as it is specifically mentioned.

Are vaults only in America? Does that mean, with the expection of the Canadain Vault, that every other nation has died out?

Vaults aren't needed to survive. Most of the wastelanders are decendants of people who survived the Great War without a Vault.

A nuclear war is winable. Its all about the government and military plans. Everyone wiould not die, just most people.
