I would get OWB (the best one according to polls) and Dead Money for the nice survival horror take on the series.

About how to install them, all you need to do is buy and download the DLC from the store. After it is finished, you go into the Game section of the XMB and then click on the little bubble with the DLC in it and click X to install it. When it's finished installing, just go into your game and play for a minute or so. You'll get a message saying that the DLC has been loaded. :)

Oh yes. One of the reasons for the patches is to add support for DLCs as they come out. I have all three current DLCs loaded and when the next patch is out, I'll be able to have Lonesome Road too. :fallout:

So many threads asking this lately!!! :whisper: :mohawk:

LIKE I have said so many times before: GET Dead Money and Old World Blues because:

  • They are [censored] Awesome
  • The Stories for those two DLC intertwine
  • Dead Money Gives you the best linear experience you will find in Fallout
  • Old World Blues gives you one of the best open world experiences in Fallout
  • Cool Weapons,
  • level cap increase

Can't answer your two questions, since I don't have PS3 :celebration:

Oh, it's also phenomenal, but you said that you could afford only 2 and I personally like Dead Money more then Honest Hearts.

Dead Money has a very rich atmosphere, is challenging, has a great story, characters, and carries a great metaphorical message. Something with Dead Money resonated with me. When just walking around the wastes, I get shivers when I think about the Madre, out there.. alone. *shivers*.

Old World blues is much the same, actually, thick, eerie atmosphere, though this is accompanied by lots of laughs and humor. Great loot, long DLC. You cannot go wrong either way.

Honest Hearts, while fun, is (in my opinion) the weakest. It's story is so-so as well as being extremely short in comparison to the other two. The area "Zion" is lovely to look at, that being one of the main positives for me. But again, the main story quests will zip by.

They're all fun, but the first to mentioned stand out, greatly, for me.

Have fun, either way!

They are all so very different. I rate them like this.

DM 9.0
OWB 8.5
HH 7.5

I can t really make an assumption on which two you should get, because you gave no info about what you like.

OWB has had the best reception on this fourm ...... I d say

As soon as its downloaded from the ps store they will be in your game. A in game messege will tell you where to go.

All of them are very different than the main game.....

All DLCs have their advantages and disadvantages.

Personally I like OWB the most and it added the most to my overall gameplay. It was cooky, added a lot of play time to the game and gave me a lot of cool stuff to boot.

For the actual DLC:
I liked Honest Hearts a lot more than Dead Money.
Dead Money I bum rushed through the DLC because I hated feeling restricted and trapped. The overall game play was very claustrophobic to me and I wanted to get it over with as soon as I can.

Honest Hearts was a lot more open and free. I had the time to explore and enjoy the game entirely. I searched a lot of nooks and crannies and had a lot of fun fighting off tribals left and right.

Rewards to completing the DLC:
Dead Money wins hands down over Honest Hearts.
While Honest Hearts gives some cool weapons and Armor it doesn't really offer anything else at the end.
Dead Money when you complete it [and finish all the necessary tasks and pick up the right schematics] offer you an endless FREE supply of weapon repair kits, stimpacks, and certain types of ammo. Not to mention food and other such items. Its an invaluable end-game reward and will help you immensely through your Vanilla playthrough.
Old World Blues hands down is the best out of all of them when it comes to end game rewards because of its cool weaponry as well as end-game awesome housing that provides a lot of cool functions.

I walked out of DM with over 700 pre war money, 3 gold bars, a 2 B.A.R.s, 2 police pistols, madre reinforced armor and helmet, assassin suit, and more. And I didn t even cheat.......

The pre war money and 3 gold bars at the time brought me over 36,000 caps, and my barter was like 46. DM crushes all others on loot/rewards
