This is very irritating.

I want to make a mod that edits weapons, right, so I go into the GECK and make it. Then I save it to my Program Files> Fallout> Data folder. But when I open the load menu in the launcher, it isn't there!

Help?

Look in \Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout3\Data. If you aren't running the GECK with admin privileges, it will save there and you'll have to copy it over.

Make sure you type the drive name first. For example, mine would be C:\Users\Elijah\AppData etc.

You need to show hidden folders. Go to Control Panel, the Appearance and Personalisation, under Folder Options there will be a Show Hidden Files and Folders link. Click that and it will bring up a Folder Options box. Under the View tab, ensure Show Hidden Files, Folder and Drives is checked. This is Windows 7, Vista or XP may be slightly different.
