Fallout Apps

Post » Tue Jul 26, 2011 5:24 pm

As far as I know, there aren't many Fallout iPhone/Android apps. But I think they should make a Fallout Radio app, with GNR, Enclave, Radio New Vegas etc on it. I know you could just download the songs for them, but I think it'd be pretty cool anyway. And I'm also a bit surprised that Bethesda haven't done that yet. What do you guys think?

That'd be great for me, I enjoy GNR immensely so I'd have that playing constantly.

There is a pip-clock app, based after pipboy http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pipclock/id402677286?mt=8. I think some modders have made an actual pip-boy.

I would get an iPhone just for that, maybe make a pipboy 3000 and go exploring in my neighborhood, picking up bottlecaps and try and buy things with them at convenience stores, but then give them a hard time about not having pre war money and ask if there is a quest I can do to get my item, or a proper speech check, who knows

I'd love playing that radio walking down the street. :P

Some guy would see you throwing down bottlecaps, then you walk around a recollect them acting surprised, then when you come to his door to buy a kitchen knife with them he will call the police.

If they showed up, I would just use V.A.T.S to freeze time.

The old guy never gave you your kitchen knife, so you make the sound effect yourself, the police look awkwardly at you, and you pull out your carboard power fist, and try to attack them all slow-mo, they grab you and throw you into the car, and drive away.

Good thing I have my screw driver and a set of 10 bobby pins so I can pick lock the jail cell. I'd say it would be an Easy to Average lock, thanks to my level 8 perception. Also I can use my Local Map on my pip boy to navigate out of the jail. Can only bring two prisoners cause of the companion limit but it's cool.

The guard watches you as you try to stick a bobby pin into the lock as it has bars that go into the wall. You sit there trying to find a way to unlock it while ranting about having your two prison buddies with you.

EDIT: They confinscated your ipod so no pipboy.

Well thanks to my Lady Killer perk, I "convinced" the hot female guard to sneak my pipboy back, through a very hard speech check (100). It was easy because of my level 9 charisma and max speech skill.

Also my prisoner buddy, one who spent his whole life working out, took some buffout he smuggled in and broke the jail bars. We escaped through the warden's secret underground tunnel.

The hot female guard just stared at you when you tried to talk to her as you said some crappy pick up line. She walks away, and you try to understand why your Lady Killer Perk didn't work. Your prison buddy just so happens to escape and he takes some beans from a can and eats him, he taps your bars and says bye.

Wondering why my "does this rag smell like chloroform to you" speech check failed, I drastically wandered my cell, but thanks to my Animal Friend perk, tooken twice of course, an owl came to my rescue and knocked out the guard, grabbed the keys and flew them to me. I escaped with ease after that.

I wandered the wastes up to a 7-11, but to my surprise, my head was on a wanted poster, damn NCR.

I managed to get a large amount of caps by trading scrap metal to some old plumber. Was easy cause I took apart my neighbor's car.

There was a prison riot and you ran away, thinking about how owls are cool.

You take apart your neibors car. They call the cops, but they only put up a bounty as they are handeling the prison riot.

When you come to the plumber, he jumps for joy when he finds out you will give him loads of scrap metal for his old bottle cap collection.

The heavy jingle of the caps attracted a highway man. With my 8 perception, I told him his gun wasn't loaded. But he laughed at me and shot me in the face.

Good thing I survived magically and was healed by a doctor though.

For some reason, none of my bottle caps were taken, just my pre war money. I pity the fool. But then I noticed my pipboy was snapped in half and the screen was gone.

I walked over to the nearest electronics store, says it sold ipods and I went in and [censored] myself when I saw pip boy screens. I did not understand why this trader would not take my bottlecaps. Frustrated I just took it he got mad and called the NCR on me. Probably rangers.

More like Super r@pe

They were bounty hunters, as the police were still occupied with the riot. They shoot you in the leg, and drop you in front of the police station.

I rested on the street to restore my crippled limb. I then used my Paralyzing Palm perk in VATS to paralyze the guards as I made my getaway.

You crawl on the ground, while the guard laughs at you while you are trying to slap them. You stand up, and fall down right away. And role into a sewer somehow.

More like a tactical maneuver... I activated my pip light, and navigated my way through the sewers. Again my level 9 perception came in handy again as I dispatched all the molerats. With combinations of my Light Step, Silent Running, and Night Person perks, I kicked ass in the sewer.
