FOSE and GFML?

Post » Wed Jul 27, 2011 9:23 am

I got FOSE installed but I can't use GFWL which wouldn't be a problem at all but my saves are like tied to it. For some reason they only show up if I have GFWL on. Is there anyway to get your saves to work on FOSE or GFWL to work on FOSE? :brokencomputer: Any help would greatly appreciated.

It's been so long since I've had GFWL on my rig, I've forgotten the filepath, but run a search for "*.FOS" and you'll be led to your saves, them move them to C:\Users\%UserName%\Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves\

Edit: Ah, that's right. They're in a folder named after your GFWL account in the same folder.

Glad to help :) If you have DLC, you'll have to move it from %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Xlive\...\##########\ to your Fallout 3\Data directory for them to work without GFOWL

Oh! You'll also want to use FOMM's "Use Fake XLive.dll" feature.
