Do you wan't more DLC?

Post » Wed Jul 27, 2011 7:15 am

I know there are a couple of user created mods for this but I want a professional job for Area 51 dlc. So long as we don't see just a blanket reuse of texutes and models I would love to see an independance day/indiana jones style 'Roswell' incident involving warehouses of relics and alien attacks. Probably wont happen, infact I may just reinstall F3 just to play MZ all over again. Iknow a lot of people hated it, but I thought it was the best one.

I do want more DLC, but by the time they're done with it november will have come and gone, so I won't have time with all the skyriming and whatnot.

You guys probably won't see me for a good 3 months on here after 11.11.

But I don't think we'll get any more FO DLC.

I don't think there will be anymore DLCs, but if there were, I'd buy them. It really depends on if Bethesda says yes and Obsidian has the time and resources to do more DLCs. Someone asked about this, but I'm not sure I'd like to see an Area 51 DLC. All that would end up being is a remake of OWB with aliens. What else could they do lol.

New reno is talked about a lot and seem like it would a new cosino or two to the game maybe add more games inthe cosinos one that take skill not luck

Casinos taking luck instead of skill are pretty true to life.

Anyway, I'd definitely like to see more DLCs for New Vegas. The quality of each of the DLCs so far has been very high and easily worth my money. Going back to California and seeing Lost Hills would be pretty snazzy.

I'd also like to see lesser DLCs - say, a "dungeon pack" that adds a couple dozen new locations with enemies to shoot to the game, just to populate the Mojave wasteland. Then maybe a "power armor pack" for ~3 bucks or something that includes more PA types.

OP, please explain "A huge DLC post game[already confirmed to be but put it in anyways to keeep the moaners happy]]". Cite your sources.

Bethesda Softworks has provided nothing aside from publishing. Bethesda Game Studios has provided their engine and Fallout 3 assets, this the similar appearance and re-usage of assets throughout New Vegas. IIRC Obsidian was told to make NV a unique game but in line graphically with Fallout 3

On topic. Id love to see San Diego, cus that's where I live. It would be awesome to make a house mod where I actually live in a game.

I m pretty sure he made a typing error on that.

So, you don t think Bethesda has had anyone for any reason from Bethesda Game Studios work on these dlc?

What about major bug fix patches? They have to help a little right? I mean they probably are more familiar with the engine than Obsidian.

I just always wondered if Bethesda helped, and if so how much......

I would happily pay for several more DLCs for Fallout NV......hell, i'd happily pay for a new DLC for Fallout 3 that added the changes to crafting and ammo from Fallout NV.

yes............more DLC. NVs DLC have surpassed all the oblivion and fallout 3 DLC by far.

You can't be serious. Unless you're not counting Shivering Isles on account of it being a legit expansion pack and not a DLC.

The Nursery would be a great DLC. Definitely the Van Buren item I wanted the most when I learned they were bringing back material from that game into New Vegas.

I'd love more dlcs but they also need to balance the mojave for high lvl characters.

I would love more DLC's I want one that takes us to Death Valley National Park to see the racing rocks XD as for balancing the mojave for high level characters that you mentioned, as long as its not like dead money I agree. Cuz damn that was effin rough at lvl 45 I managed to get lord of death perk in just that dlc and then some.

Voted "yes" and chose New Reno but i'm sure Lonesome Road is the final DLC. I'll probably be too busy playing Skyrim when Lonesome Road arrives.

I think Lonesome Road's due out well before Skyrim.

I really don't think a piece of DLC would be able to do justice to The Boneyard ... I mean, we're talking about Los Angeles ....

Perhaps it could be a location in a future Fallout game.

No, I want a proper expansion pack interconnecting the gameworld and the main characters in the game, but there will be ZERO CHANCE this happens, since this bullcrap DLC plagues the gaming world today.
So you end doing whatever you want with Graham, but not talking to Caesar about it; you do whatever you want with Elijah, but can't talk with the BoS about it; or you side with the Enclave and practice mass-genocide on the DC Wasteland, but is forced to work with the BoS.

Why spending some time creating a thing that actually interconnects the entire game and requires a reasonable amount of work, when you can milk svckers for 10 more bucks and make more money in the end, hun? :hubbahubba:
