Creating a Grindstone

I have this idea to put grindstones in the game which can be activated by the player to receive a temporary fortify attack buff. Here's how I'd like it to work;

-A popup window appears on activation, allowing the player to choose his/her action: The grindstone is in good condition and ready for use, what would you like to do? "Sharpen your Weapon" or "Leave it". A sound (soundID: Grindstone1) would also be played upon activation, to add a bit of flavor.

-Should the player choose to sharpen his/her weapons, a fortify attack spell would be cast upon the player (id: Grindstone_Buff) and a message box would appear, something like "Your blade has been sharpend on the grindstone.", again, if possible accompanied by a sound effect. (soundID: Grindstone2)

Would this require alot of scripting work? I was thinking of the grindstone acting as a static repair tool which could improve the durability of your currently equiped weapon, but that sounds a bit too complicated to write. (hand-to-hand, marksman weapons, etc) Any help would be appreciated!
