I hate to point out the flaws in your argument, since I rather LIKE your Morrowind Overhaul project, but the thing with Knots' guide is that you CAN ignore specific parts of it, replace them with things you find better, et cetera. That's the thing about using a guide that links all the pieces together for you is that they're interchangeable in practice. Just the same, it's better for a lot of people, especially newcomers, to use a completed one-size-fits-all install like MOSG.

Well, all these things can be disabled completely with MGSOO.
Anyway I'm not trying to say that using my pack is the best option in all the cases, just clarifying things
