Lake Mead Treasure!

Post » Wed Jul 27, 2011 11:48 pm

One of the loading pages on FNV talks about prospector stories about a great treasure lying at the bottom of Lake Mead. Has anyone found it? Is there any history on the topic? Anything besides the loading screen? I've searched the topic and I don't come up with much, just pages using the words "Lake" , "Mead" , and "Treasure". But that's a search engine for you..

Back to the topic, any insight or ideas on this? I'll try to find a link to the loading page, but help for that would be wanted, as you can't really 'google' a loading screen. :3

Spoiler
Might be the crashed sunset sarsaparilla truck at the bottom. Or the cave.

The bomber.
A pile of pre war money in the cave in suit cases.

My favourite...... loads of gore bags near to the bomber by a sunken boat with bloody body parts inside,

I thought that as well, but I read somewhere else that the treasure was really in a pre-war

Spoiler
briefcase, containing a lot of pre-war money and things.

A few hundred caps' worth of old world money. Nothing to write home about. Even if you had one.

If your character is drunk enough you can find a door way into Skyrim.......but unfortunately it's to small to go through
