Ted Strayer is ruining the Market atmosphere

That is what he is doing and has been doing for a long time. When I first spoke to him I didn't quite like his whole druggie 'chill bro, your vibes are negative' rhetoric, so I told him that he was a useless junkie. I only wanted to be rude and leave it at that, but he went into combat and is always fleeing. But he has no path or target to flee to so he stays in one spot. I've tried stopcombat on him, but he reenters combat and flees again one frame later and continues to crouch. What will make him stop this behaviour? Mr. Lopez can't do anything for Ted because I also said something to him that could have been interpreted as unkind.

Also, this happened to me as well. DOes this only happen if you say that mean things to Ted?


Try the Oreo patented solution: Type in kill, and then resurrect. Maybe that will reset him?

OR maybe try the command tai or tcai?

No I didn't tell him that. I simply put the mouse over that option and clicked it. Reverse psychology is often successful. Mr. Lopez is a drug dealer and he lost his family because of it, correct? By 'lost his family' that means that they couldn't put up with his behavior and left him, correct? Now, because Mr. Lopez did have the guts, Ted no longer has a source for his drugs.

I've looked a Ted in the GECK. His exact response is 'Whoa! Dude! You don't have to get all in my face' and he is supposed to run away from the player far enough ( perhaps another cell ) where he will lose aggro and return to normal. This doesn't happen at all for some reason. I can only assume it is some bug that gets him stuck there if he is spoken to after the market was supposed to be closed. He has a package to make him flee to an exterior cell called AbandonedSewerExterior[-5,28] and it is top priority. He also has a key related to quest MS14, and the script checks to see if he died from a head injury. So the game doesn't mind that he dies.

There's only one thing left to do: Install FNNCQ, enslave him and sell him to David for some quick caps.

One of your mods has probably bugged him up.
