Adding DLC to Modded Game

Post » Thu Jul 28, 2011 10:17 pm

I'm on my first playthrough of fonv. I'm thinking of getting OWB, but I'm wondering how it will affect my game since I have about 8-12 or so mods installed. Is this something I should hold off on til I start over or something? Will I have to uninstall then reinstall the mods?

I've searched around google because I figure this has been asked before, but I've had no luck in finding an answer so far.

Thanks

Nope, you should be fine. However, check all of your mods on the nexus and see if there are separate downloads for OWB or any other DLC you want to download or some of your mods won't work in the DLC.

Haven't seen any mods that wouldn't work in the DLCs (apart from the weather mods, obviously). Usually those patches just make use of the new stuff or features included in the DLCs. Adding the DLCs should not cause any problems, though.

However if you are using any levelcap altering mods the level cap increase of the DLC may increase it by 5.
