This game is going to take forever to play

A (several) plastic guitar kept me busy for two years. With that said, yes, Skyrim will last longer than most games.

I'll just go with the 300+ hours Howard told us.

I figure using certain "features" we'll be able to jump over a wall and beat the whole game in 10-20 minutes with my math :celebration:

While I didn't post the actor numbers I'm well aware their around the 70+ range.

What I ment on my previous post was that -Despite- the total dialogue lines in the game being very close to that of New Vegas which fails to awe me Skyrim gains from that larger VO pool than BGS's FO3 and Obsi's New Vegas.

And speculated there could be more NPCs than Oblivion or Morrowind. More than Fallout 3/New Vegas wouldn't be surprising counting the nature of the franchise.

Though the extra populating NPCs have been shown to be simplistic inspite of FO 3/NV going a generic NPC population route.

That's only past TES games though. Skyrim could be a different story.

The MQ will turn out to be 1 hour, sorry to disappoint you.

You could beat Oblivion in 11 minutes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cfmdl9-tnSU&feature=related

In playstation magazine Todd said there is 300 hours of content in the game, and that you can rush through the main quest in something like 20-30 hours.

It's on page 55 of the issue with the picture of all the meats, also on page 55

Um, officially they have stated that the MQ line is 30 hours. But, I suppose for some that don't read dialog or take any time at all to enjoy the story and that go fast as hell just to break some sort of pointless record in a so called "I beat the game in 1 hour" title then maybe that might be possible but i seriously doubt it!
Prior to its release, Bethesda employees were able to speed-run FO3's main quest in 75 minutes, IIRC. Such numbers don't concern me--I take my sweet time in games like these.

Why do people take my posts seriously? Anyhow, 30 hours better stick.

I think we knew exactly how much our lives were gonna go down the drain when we saw the words "The Elder Scrolls."

It's science fact that The Elder Scrolls is equal to or greater than 200 hours.

Also, mods will drastically increase this total, as will multiple playthroughs.

And Hopefully this time around it will Stick

What are you guys talking about no elderscrolls game has been only 30 hrs gameplay ??? Todd himself said they lost count of game play hrs with this game after 300 !!! That was stated over 5 months ago !!! They have continued to add more content and more dungeons since then, you guys should really listen more and fret less.

Easiest math I've seen in this thread.
