I wondered, what languages I get, if I buy the "german" version.
Is it just the german language or will it also include english? An austrian shop, where you can preorder Skyrim, named the version they sell "EU Version" and wrote "playable in german and english".
Is this true?
I ask because I'm not yet sure, if I'd like to play the game rather in german or rather in english.
I think I'd prefer german, because to me it just feels better in a world like Skyrim (nordic/"germanian"/european looking .. at least to me). However I prefered Fallout 3 in english not only because of the gore, but also because it suits the overall setting of Fallout 3 much better.
The downside of only having german would be, that most big mods/overhauls are english and might not be fully compatible (or at least it will be heavily confusing with some stuff in german and other in english). Also we have yet to see, which synchronisation is better.
To me the german voices of Oblivion were ok, but too repetative (dunno how it was in the english version though). Fallout 3 in english felt better overall.
So again the question:
Will there be a multilingual version of Skyrim, or will there only be an english one, a french one, a german one, etc.?
If not, may it be possible to get other voices per download without having to pay again (as great as Skyrim might be, I wouldn't buy it two times)?
