lockpicking, entering a shop a guard spots me, bounty=5 "lets keep this between us and ill pay you 10/15/20/25/30 up to 100" for a simple crime, if he accepts your free, if he doesnt you get a higher bounty :P what do ya think?

If you have really high Fame in Oblivion the guards would not care if you stole something.

I want to see a changing of the guard type quest series, where over half of the guards in a city are corrupt, sectioning off districts..and trying to crush the normal guards that refuse to join them.

All of them were corrupt in Oblivion and pretty obvious about it too, always demanding payment in blood or it's off to jail even for such trivialities as picking up someone's vase that you've accidentally knocked down... makes you wonder if they weren't all just vampires in disguise.

In addition, pretty much every single one of them took bribes too.

But if you had high disposition with a guard, speaking to him would remove your bounty for some minor crimes "since we're friends".

only if your bounty was 1 gold, and to make him you "friend" youd need atleast 1k gold in bribing him *from 0 to 80-100*

Well, then we've played different Oblivions, since in mine I could get away with almost anything short of murder with my beloved Charm spell.

So you go into a shop murder someone :gun:
Then a guard comes in :bolt:
He tells you off :nono:
You bribe/blackmail him :whisper:
He leaves the shop :bolt:
You start dancing
