Crytek working on various other console games

Post » Sun Jul 31, 2011 3:56 am

-I do not care to cite sources just like Crytek does not care to improve this game. They have become so popular to consoles within the past few months it seems. They will continue to make games, seemingly leaving Crysis 2 behind. As a consumer and fan, very disappointed. I guess they can only improve, without blaming the inadequacy of current consoles.-

Well, the point about working on other titles isn't a suprise. They did announce a 360 exclusive, didn't they? Not too sure.

Hopefully, Crysis 3 (if made) takes what many have been saying, and improves.

Looking forward to the new shooter IP. Crytek can have all my moneys. I love Crysis 2. I seem to have a perfectly working copy. I'm happy to spend my money on Crytek's next game.

Not trying to sound like a drama queen, but I know I'm not buying another Crytek product anytime soon. I only bought this game for the multiplayer aspect because they had a unique experience in the demos. I can't fanthom how they can royally screw up the experience so decisively from the 2 days that the demo was taken down to the transition to retail. Crytek's reputation as a game company is tarnished in my eyes because they are letting their flagship title die a slow, painful death while they claim it is finished and leave the customer to theorize what's going on behind the scenes. I have never experienced a game's community implode on itself as quickly this game has done.

The only thing that kept me around playing this game this long, was the hope that they would actually return the BALANCED demo's mechanics. I could have overlooked minor glitches, bugs, and inadequate matchmaking easily IIIIIFFFFF this game had decisive balanced game mechanics. Crytek blew a lot of hot air claiming their game involved dynamic gameplay when half the game's options in the game don't work effectively at all. I'm not going to play a game that isn't stimulating & fun to me at all. After thinking about this whole situation, I keep asking myself, "Why the hell am I looking out the window waiting for the demo's mechanics to return when Crytek has already boarded up the window?"
