I'd personally be happy if we never saw the NCR again. But I know that won't happen.

East Coast Brotherhood by a wide margin.

They were a terrible addition to the Fallout universe.

I think that if they return they will be given a new name.

Enclave and most of the raiders in New Vegas, except the Great Khans.

I like the ending for them when they fled up north and formed a great empire, that's a nice ending for them.

Brotherhood of Steel, Enclave, NCR (if they appear in one more game, fine, but they better die out in it.) and The Pitt Raiders.

This is a toughie but given how Bethesda retconned the Enclave I'd say them even though I like them now.

I'd actually prefer it if they brought back Vipers and Jackals and expanded on them.
After all, Khans, Vipers and Jackals were the big three to originate from Vault 15.
svcks that two of them were reduced to nothing but cannon fodder.
So I think all three should be brought back at some point and to expand on the other two heavily in lore.

I don't want Enclave back, if they have an outpost in Chicago, fine, but that's it, after Fallout 4 or whatever they need to be 100% wiped out with only remnants and bunkers and facilities lost in time remaining.

Caesars Legion. NCR defeated them with my help. Plus I've played the originals Fallouts, so NCR was kind of like a small nation that my duty was protecting. Caesars Legion came late in and isn't remotely like Rome. Rome has more then slaves, warriors and merchants. They're more barbaric then the Gaul people. And they hate medicine and science.

East Coast Brotherhood was a terrific addition to the Fallout universe. They realized that strictly following the Codex would lead to their demise, and that you can't stay stuck in the past. Hell, even the Boomers realized they can't go the same way they were going, they needed to change a little bit if they were to survive. Look at the Mojave chapter, nobody likes them. Not a single person. Plus, they are dying out.

Anyways, the faction I'd like to see not return would be NCR. Go home, land grabbers!

Your choices don't matter when it comes to canon choices.
And even if they were beaten in the Mojave it doesn't mean that all of them got killed.
Might be some internal crises but they're not dead by a long shot.

Not really. It was taking a unique and interesting faction and then warping them into something tired and predictable in a way that made absolutely no sense and immeasurably cheapened the nature of post-apocalyptic America. Bethesda could've easily created an original faction from the East Coast to fill the role they wanted and it likely would've turned out to be far more interesting since they would've had to come up with some original lore and ideas rather than just saying "Remember these guys? Pretty cool huh? Didn't really have anything to do with protecting people or rebuilding civilization of course but they do now because Lyons is an idealist."

They realized that strictly following the Codex would lead to their demise, and that you can't stay stuck in the past. Just for the record according to basically everyone you talk to in Fallout 3 the D.C. Chapter was dying out too despite the absence of any serious opponent beyond raiders and moronic super mutants until they found a handy deus ex machina. Put the West Coast Brotherhood into Lyons' situation and and they'd be in great shape too. Substantially better actually since they aren't idiots like Lyons.
