Hit squad spawning is... kinda screwy...

In the playthrough I did when Dead Money came out, I was freeing the Powder gangers from the legion (can't remember the questname).

I sniped a legionare (my very first legionare kill of the game) instantly killing him without the others reacting, satisfied I crept a little closer to set up my second shot, when suddenly I noticed someone whacking me in the head with a melee weapon.

That stealthy kill apparently triggered a legion hitsquad, so now I had the camp and a hitsquad to deal with.

After that I expected to be jumped by a hit squad everytime I attacked the legion.
It made me respect them alot more :)

I would assume the quest is called Booted, if my memory serves me correct, since I was like "What kind of named is Booted"?

Wow, that sounds like a crappy deal. Instant assassins?
