Why not make a DLC where you can drive a vehicle/ride a horse kind sort of (new) animal in that DLC and in the main game?

We've been over this before..
The game engine couldn't handle vehicles.
The game world is too small (IMO) for mountable animals. You'd get from goodsprings to the strip in 10 minutes. No.

I already do that just run from goodspring north to the strip when I start a new character lol. But the map is to small for mounts.

Already payed for my copy just have to wait lol. I'm not a big fan of cars or mounts tbh I prefer to walk you get to see more and I'm an avid explorer its why I love rpgs using a car is like using the silt strider to travel Morrowind sure its quick but you miss out on the epic adventures off the beaten path.

Noooo, the game engine CAN handle vehicles - players have made both a motorcycle mod (that works) and a vertibird mod (that works). The game world bit being small is viable however.

Yeah but it doesn't work like a vehicle, it doesn't have vehicle mechanics like - you know - wheels spinning. IIRC the modded object just moves at the players command. It's like how the few light switches in the game don't actually turn the lights on but rather replace the off lights with versions of the model that are lit. Try the Vault 21 light switch, you can see the new objects fade in and out. The engine, in short, doesn't accept vehicles, it accepts a vehicle like - but still static - object that responds to player direction.
