The ethnicity portion of the poll is really screwed up.
Anyway, Morrowind was my favorite, and I hope Skyrim will be my new favorite.

So little racial diversity.

The lack of racial diversity of players is shocking. I mean really, as of right now 91.3 percent of the voters are Caucasian.

See... here's the thing.

For better or worse, I can't go back in a series. Too many new features, too good graphics, too much stuff I miss from the latest... it's just not possible. Wasn't for Fallout, wasn't for TES, and won't be this time either. The only game I could go backwards in is Dragon Age, where the series was butchered before it began.

What about Australian or New Zealander, whether Caucasian or not? What about all the non-Caucasians living in Europe?

Voted 'Yes' for the last question, but wanted to vote 'don't know'.

But anyhow

Nope...... but if I'm still playing vanilla Skyrim when the TES VI comes out I might change skyrim to my new fav game.

Ironic in south Africa People call each other Coulored black or white . in the rest of the world they say mixed Race , if you Say mixed race in SA it gets taken up as an insult.

The OP listed 9 different "ethnicities" - at least some of us on this forum are bi-racial or in some way identify ourselves as belonging to two or more of the listed ethnicities. Also FYI, "Hispanic" is no longer the generally accepted term for Latinos, many of whom have no Spanish heritage whatsoever.

also mixed race people, like our President (and myself)

He mucked up Ethnicity completely.

If you are a European who lives in Australia or New Zealand you don't have any ethnicity on that poll. If you are African and live in England you likewise don't have any ethnicity, and if you are from Egypt you are both North African and Middle Eastern, while if you are from anywhere in Africa north of South Africa and outside the middle east there is no ethnicity which fits you.

... Europe is the birthplace of Western Culture. Therefore there can be no misconception as to what parts of the world Europe entails.
.... The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland consists of only four countries - Northern Ireland, Wales, England and Scotland.
... Every single atlas I have ever seen in my life has Europe as one of the 7 continents of the world and the UK as part of that continent.
... A land bridge between England and the rest of Europe existed recently, I believe less than 10,000 years ago. It is now flooded.
.... The usage of the word continent doesn't refer to separation by anything other than convention. As such it doesn't matter if North America was cut into pieces by umpteen million fault lines. It would still be part of the North American continent.
... You're from the UK. You can't be that obtuse.

While latin americans are hispanic (since the term hispanic is a language thing and NOT an ethnicity), Spaniards are obviously hispanic too; however, ethnically, being latin american is NOT the same as being either Spanish, Portuguese, or iberian in general. So instead of hispanic you should just add Latin American, and Iberian if you like (or Spanish or Portuguese).

In the end...your conception of ethnicity is just wrong. You are replacing the word race with ethnicity. I mean, most Spanish are european caucasians, however, being Spanish, as an ethnicity, is a mixture that expands beyond the caucasian, and its not uncommon for many Spanish people to be tanned skin (because of arab influence).

So, looking back at it, my comment for including latin americans just exposes a key mistake in the structure of your poll. Of course, you are free to do what you like.
