How much realism can Skyrim get?

Post » Sun Jul 31, 2011 12:45 pm

... that if visit your wife after a prolonged absence, or logged out for a long period of time, she will wonder where the heck you have been and start throwing things?

... that if you drop items/weapons, people will actually pick them up and have the heart to give them back to you?

... that if you successfully murder everyone in a village/city, no quest can ever be given to you in that area ever again?

... that if you kill a house owner, you can finally sleep in their bed?

... that if you save a father's life from peril you can marry their legal daughter?

... that you have the ability to undercook/ put poison in food and give it to townsfolk?

Thank you in advance! ^_^

Possible, but, IMO, unlikely. Not confirmed, at any rate.

... that if you drop items/weapons, people will actually pick them up and have the heart to give them back to you?
Confirmed!

... that if you successfully murder everyone in a village/city, no quest can ever be given to you in that area ever again?
Based on statements from Todd, this is likely.

... that if you kill a house owner, you can finally sleep in their bed?
Confirmed! (IIRC...)

... that if you save a father's life from peril you can marry their legal daughter?
This seems like the sort of thing Radiant AI was designed for, but it hasn't been commented in in those words...

... that you have the ability to undercook/ put poison in food and give it to townsfolk?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this more or less possible in Oblivion?

Thank you in advance! ^_^

Skyrim can get a LOT of realism! :)

I would hate to have to kill my wife if she threw my precious master alembic and broke it.
... that if you drop items/weapons, people will actually pick them up and have the heart to give them back to you?
That's a yes.
... that if you successfully murder everyone in a village/city, no quest can ever be given to you in that area ever again?
Todd has talked on this and I'm pretty sure the village/city will repopulate.
... that if you kill a house owner, you can finally sleep in their bed?
Please bring this back! You could in Morrowind.
... that if you save a father's life from peril you can marry their legal daughter?
Possible...
... that you have the ability to undercook/ put poison in food and give it to townsfolk?
You could do this in Oblivion with poison apples.
Thank you in advance! ^_^

no idea

... that if you drop items/weapons, people will actually pick them up and have the heart to give them back to you?
yes, confirmed in January - if they like you they will pick your sword up for you if you drop it.

... that if you successfully murder everyone in a village/city, no quest can ever be given to you in that area ever again?
probably not, but who knows?

... that if you kill a house owner, you can finally sleep in their bed?
that's something Todd said they were working on as of June and he expected it to be in the final build

... that if you save a father's life from peril you can marry their legal daughter?
maybe

... that you have the ability to undercook/ put poison in food and give it to townsfolk?
poison in food is almost a given, since we could do something like that in Oblivion.

I don't want it to be too realistic :( That's why its a video game. Some realism is good though.
