Dragon Language 101

Post » Sun Jul 31, 2011 10:24 pm

Who else hopes that somewhere along the line they make it available, either in-game, or included in the collector's edition a booklet that contains the entire dragon language so you can learn? I understand how nerdy this is, but I don't care cause I wanna learn the dragon language.

Even if they can't do it, a fan published one would be great.

Yes, ever since They began talking about the dragon language, I have been wanting a booklet that had the Dragon Language with the Collectors Edition. Like a Dictionary or something.

I'm certain we'll see some fan published ones for sure. That's a given. I want a cool ancient looking book.

I'm almost positive that something like this will be in the CE.

Aw man, don't tease me. That would be my dream! They can have all of my Septims if this is true!

Hopefully they have some cool easter eggs / hidden messages written on the dragon language.

Kind of like Dead space 1 and 2 have written on Unitology symbols all around the game.

Why must it be in the CE? Why not in the regular game case? Sometimes, a lot of people, especially in America, can't afford to spend $100 so they can get this amazing game and then a dictionary. I would really much rather have something so easy to create in the regular game, save stuff like maybe some fake septims or action figures and stuff for the CE.

I doubt they'd fit an entire language in the regular game case, what with the included map and game booklet(which I can assure you will be quite full enough). Besides, some of us want a big old ancient dragon book.

This is why I said I was confident that there would be fan made translations. I'm certain short after it's release, we will see pages like these completed as more letters and words are presented within the game.

I would rather have in-game books or scrolls that let us piece together some more of the language instead of a manual handed to us along with our game. One way or another though, I want to learn to atleast understand dragon language when I see it. Even if it takes a bit of translating

Who cares...

People who do.

I wouldn't mind nerding it up and learning it a bit.

Meh... dragons are boring. I want me some unique creatures like Deathclaws or that badass looking creature in TES lore that got killed at in Skyrim's DawnStar. Dragons are so damn overused and I could care or less about learning their language. No desrespect to the people that still care about them and their language.

If anyone out there has some talent for designing fonts, I'm sure you would have some grateful people singing your praises if you can make one for us.
