Hi everyone,

I've had some time on my hands recently due to illness, and decided to have a go doing Let's Play videos. I went with Oblivion as I'm already familiar with it and didn't want to go in right at the deep end!

That's an interesting take on a play through. Very hectic and energetic like a "New York Minute" with a bit more attitude. :toughninja:

As a guy I'm always intrigued as to how the other half play and interact with video games. May I recommend the channel of http://www.youtube.com/user/LythaJuliania? She is also going through some tough times with an illness, yet still makes some great "Let's Play" videos, many of which are blind.

Hmm... I'll definitely have to take a look at your LP's! I love to watch TES LP's... despite having functioning installs of Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion. Funny that.

Anyhow, as far as recommendations go, there's too many to list...

...You might consider checking out http://www.youtube.com/veriax, http://www.youtube.com/user/Kikoskia, http://www.youtube.com/user/nakateleeli, and http://www.youtube.com/user/UnPlayedAThing. All four tend to play RPGs or obscure titles, and all four have a relatively bright and cheery demeanor that should (hopefully) help you feel better. Veriax is even doing an Oblivion LP of his own.

Edit: Just watched a bit of your work; you're energetic, and obviously enjoying the game, which is really important for LP's... skill is secondary. I'll be subscribing to your channel.

I discovered your Oblivion Let's Play on my own some time back. It's one of the better ones I've found thus far. (By sheer coincidence I viewed your most recent upload shortly before coming here and reading this thread.) Hope you continue making and posting new segments.

I've FINALLY managed to get Fraps to record in widescreen, so the next videos should look a bit better. I've also got someone to make a fantastic 'outro' jingle for me, but at the moment I'm having significant problems encoding it in a way that will let me actually put it on the video! But that's secondary to the important thing, which is that you like the content

I feel happy to carry on now. I did a couple of Dead Space ones but good Lord, I'm so ingrained into first person I end up tripping over my own feet!

Hahahaha, I don't think I ever did but it's worrying how quickly you start doing it. You also have to be very careful about how you play, as normally I'd be going after every single flower, plant and removable item I come across. But that does not a good video make...
