Pretty straight foward, please discuss your opinions and your reason for picking whoever you pick.

Best: President dike Richardson - A die-hard patriot who backed his genocidal plan with his own life and would give it willingly for what he thought was the survival of the human race; as deluded as the rest of his citizens but sincere as all hell.

Worst: President John Henry Eden - A computer trying hopelessly to follow in the footsteps of the previous President who he thought was one of the greatest but ultimately destroyed democracy and allowed himself to become threatened by his subordinates and eventually spark an uprising.

Tandi took a tiny farming village and turned it into the superpower of the Fallout universe. So I gotta say best leader is prettymuch a given as far as I'm concerned.

I picked Lyons for worst but it was a toss-up between him and Eden. If you examine Lyons' actual record rather than just accepting the "he's a noble and wise leader" concept Bethesda wanted it's completely appalling.

best: the master, he had a truely divine but flawed ( mutants are sterile) plan, his main purpose was to unify the wasteland, to force the human race to evolve, so there would be no more violence and have global peace.

worst: kimball, he thought he could take new vegas and hold it without any complications, and it didn't work, and with idealists like Ceasar, him or any other president like him will never be able to expand the republic

Best: The Master, for his genius and army. He was a brilliant man before he was transformed by the FEV and he used that brilliance with it's full effect. He didn't exactly see the the Mutants sterility and his logic may have been slightly foggy. But he did almost take over the entire California wasteland, if not for the Vault Dweller he would've succeeded. The Mutants would've been so large when the Enclave had to eventually come to the mainland they would've been overwhelmed by the Unity.

Worst: Kimball, no contest. He is as smart as a sack of rocks. He a disgrace to the NCR and pales in comparison to Tandi.

In all honesty I would work with house even though he has a few cards under his table he has never seemed the betraying type. Only people he wants dead are those who are publicly against him and as long as your loyal he'll keep the pay but if your not that well-serving he'll probrably just not look to you for the job and leave you be.

The NCR and CL are more treacherous and most of their leaders usually have a few skeletons in their closet.

Then again Tandi is a good choice might not pay as well though but I doubt she'll send someone to silence you if you do too many high end jobs for her. Thus making you a loose end.

Kimball is the worst, why? Hes underhanded and I don't trust the guy and I hate his voice and attitude. Oh and no tactical strategic mind.

Tandi I would say is the best because she was president during NCR's expantion into the North and into Nevada.

Worst would be John Henery Eden. He had the power and just didn't use it and his role in the Fallout Universe bugs me.

If General Barnaky shows up in a future game leading the MWBoS then he would be the best.

You have Elder Maxson II as the Brotherhood leader in Fallout 1, he was not. The Elder in Fo1 was John Maxson, Maxson II was the Elder before Fallout 1 started. He died when he took a group of Paladins to destroy a raider gang. He didn't put his power helmet on and was killed by a poison arrow.

My personal favorite is John Henry Eden, but I don't think he was the best leader by any means (I simply think he was a decent one), and in terms of Enclave leaders, he wasn't near as good as Richardson. I will continue to defend him and his actions however.

My vote for worst goes to Lyons, mainly because I hate him, but also because as a BOS leader he failed as well (just ignored the source of all mutants in the CW for 20 years).

I am a huge Brotherhood supporter and I hate Lyons. I'd say for someone who likes the BoS so much to hate him, he must have svcked pretty badly.

I know that story but are you positive that was Pre-F1?

BoS supporters probably hate him because he abandon their ideals and adapted to the situation...

Except in F3 Lyons' Brotherhood is failing as surely as the real BOS despite the absence of challenges anywhere near as severe as those back in California until he manages to activate his handy deus ex machina.

Put any chapter of the Brotherhood in Lyons' shoes and they'd do just as well if not substantially better since they don't share his ridiculous preoccupation with getting people killed defending radio stations run by cowardly idiots. They'd probably figure out it might be a smart idea to find out where the Super Mutants are coming from at some point too.

Yes, http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Maxson_II was the former BoS Elder. His son http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/John_Maxson is the Elder in Fallout 1.

There are some missing, but they aren't to important, maybe aradesh, probally wouldn't get any votes though.

Best - Tandi - like states before she took shady sands and made it a "super power" in the wastes.

Worst - Kimball - He just took Tandi's work and shoved it down a toilet.

whatever happend to the brotherhood being a top secret reaserch and development center? i mean in fallout Nv they have an entire chapter, when every base (according to F2) past the lost hills bunker, is only to have one man, to keep the brotherhood anonymous so they don't get into disputes with factions like the NCR, unlike the mojave chapter witch pissed off the NCR

All the Brotherhood everywhere is at war with the NCR.
