OWB Broke Fallout NV

Post » Tue Aug 02, 2011 5:41 pm

Since I downloaded OWB the game has been unstable, and it is now unplayable

At first I could only play after a cold boot, otherwise the launcher crashed, so I thought to check a few forums to see if I could get it stable again. I have the game via steam.

One suggestion was to 'verify integrity of local cache', I did this and it downloaded a single small file, now I'm completely unable to play. The loader instantly crashes. Even after cold boot.

I found a comment on these Bethesda forums that mentioned deleting the ini files and doing the check. It then crashed in game after I zoned and now I can't play it again, even after cold boot.

Worst performance patch ever! So uh.. help.

Same issues here.

Even with a fresh new game I get around 30 seconds of play time then the game crashes back to windows.

I've updated all of my drivers.

I love this game and I own all of the Fallout series but even I am beginning to lose patience with the constant stability issues.

When can we expect a new patch so I can at least play the game?
