U L T I M A T E- A R G O N I A N- D I S C U S S I O N

"We've brought the blue moon to the forums and are showing Argonians haters what happens when they be racist!" lawl...
Anyways This is where we can discuss lore about Argonians.

*Argonians are from Blackmarsh, they are a warm-blooded reptilian race. Arguably the most mysterious race of Tamriel.

*There used to be men that lived in Black Marshknowned as the Kothringi tribesmen but the sload brought a disease from Thras, known as the Knahaten Flu . This plague killed almost all men and elves on Tamriel at the time. However Argonians were immune so they survived. They believe they were created from the Hist. Hists were the first species on Tamriel along with the Ehlnofey. Myths say the Hist had a great homeland that was sunken beneath the ocean during the wars of the Ehlnofey. It is said that this land was huge and Argonia is now just a small corner of it. Along other races to live in Argonia were the Lilmothiit and the Orma, However they both died out. Wamasus or Wamasii, dragon-like creatures, also live in Argonia, but they haven't had any sights reported in a long, long time. werelions, and werecrocodiles also live in Blackmarsh currently. Theres many exotice wildlife that is also dangerous like the Hackwings "giant birds with long, saw-like beaks nearly the size of the rest of their bodies."-Jarth's Scotti Novel (in-game book I presume, but no specific name, got off uesp.)

I'll try to cover the Arnesian War soon!

Points of Interest:

Gideon: The closest settlement to Cyrodiil.
Murkwoord: The ever changing interior of Argonia, one of the most dangerous regions on Tamriel.

Blackrose: A major city founded by the Lilmothiit, hold "The rose" the most secure prison in Tamriel. This city is very close to Murkwood, and where Jagar Tharn hid a piece of the staff of Chaos.

Stormhold: Once an ancient Aylied city, it is now a major city of Argonia.

Lilmoth: After the Oblivion crisis, this major city was destroyed by the Ministry of Truth.

Thorn: Otherwise known as "The jewel of the East" This major city is said to be the most beautiful city on Tamriels east coast.

Tear: Used to be apart of Morrowind, council seat of House Dres. House Dres does not want to be the house of Morrowind under Argonia's Mercy...Slaving capital of the world.

This belongs in the Lore section, and Argonians are warm-blooded. You should also source your quotes :P

..Uh, why? Try adding something meaningful to the discussion, dude.

But this thread could get moved to TES General since it has nothing to do with Skyrim specifically.

Argonians are one of my favorite races, especially to role-play, they're very interesting.

Ha check out the black Marsh Map. Only degraded some of Morrowind, assuming its split into Telvanni, Imperial, and Argonian parts now.

By the way, you should also consider putting http://images.uesp.net/f/ff/Racemap05S-Morrowind.jpg picture in the map section since...you know...Argonians own it now.

I doubt it, their not going to show and pregant ladies chances have it. So no eggs. But Argonians do lay eggs in case you're wondering.

They are ovovivo... ovivovivi... ovovivi...par...ty?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ovoviviparity
This. They drop a egg and it immediately cracks open with the new hatchling.

Just so that no one gets any ideas that there should be argonian eggs hanging around everywhere.

Note: No sources, however I think some developer said this in an interview and if it wasnt that then it was some talking going on in the lore forums.

No I think they bang and reproduce like birds. Actually I don't even understand how sperm gets to a female in bird intercourse (I dont [censored] birds by the way, I have pet birds, just needed to clear that up.) They put their heads in the others ass....
