So, this is not about your favorite race, but what race can you connect to. In other words, if you were suddenly dropped in the TES world, which culture would you most fit into?

While I enjoy playing as Breton, Khajiit, Dunmer, Bosmer, and Nords......Bretons are the only ones I can really connect with, what gets it for me is this line: Passionate and eccentric, poetic and flamboyant, intelligent and willful, the Bretons feel an inborn, instinctive bond with the mercurial forces of magic and the supernatural. Many great sorcerers have come out of their home province of High Rock, and in addition to their quick and perceptive grasp of spellcraft, enchantment, and alchemy, even the humblest of Bretons can boast a high resistance to destructive and dominating magical energies.

That describes me very well.

Aside from that, the Bretons have a habit of harnessing the forces of magic that protect them and others, which is what I think we should do with science, as opposed to finding new ways to kill each other faster and in larger groups. Though science really is a double edged sword, every positive advance has a negative side effect.

So, what race can you most identify with?

Argonians, seriously. The way they were portrayed in Morrowind... I really liked the way they seemed to think. The added details from the infernal city just supported that.

Mindset-wise, Argonians are TES' only true elves, imo. And they (or at least Mere-Glim) think in a way that I can relate to.
