Never played Fallout 3 for more than 1 day. So...not really sure what you're talking about here.

your best chance of getting this question answered by a dev is posting it in this thread: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1213002-unofficial-skyrim-fan-interview/

Are you kidding me?
There's a better chance a dino named bill is going to crash through my wall and eat me than that guy getting any answers.

You could adjust it in Oblivion and FO3, so I don't see why you can't in Skyrim (I'm speaking for the PC here, of course).

Pete already confirmed he will sit down with him, so at this point it all depends on what questions he asks.

As for the OP's question above, it doesn't seem like some earth-shattering Skyrim secret, if Pete or whichever devs ArticKill talks to at QuakeCon happens to know the answer and it's confirmed, what reason would they possibly have to hide this info about the camera.

I think the way it was done in Oblivion was the best, Using RT/LT to zoom in and out. It wasn't like that in F3 :S

But to the point: It was in the last two games Bethesda made so i think it will.

NOTE: FO:NV wasn't made by Bethesda, Only produced by them.

The option is still in New Vegas, they just put a limit on how far back the camera can be pulled... it's actually a smart move, because if you pull it back too far, your character just looks like he's gliding across the ground. Thumbs up to Obsidian for that improvement.
