Nvidia Beta 280 Update

Seems not too bad after all, explorer makes the gpu dance but apart from that i'm quite happy with it now, also if anyone uses windows aero with a 5 series card i'd strongly advise against it cause mine started cooking when idle, anyways heres a pic of healthy gpu usage during three MP games with Game Effects, Objects and Particles @ Ultra>>

man my gtx 465 is heating for 84-85 C
And you are worrying about 62 and 70 maximum C temperature?
That temps even more than plausible for games on ultra settings.

I generally turn windows aero effects down a bit because of the problems it causes with games.

I still have the lag problems sometime in MP, especially with the downbird and skyline.
Did anyone get a same situation like me? ( DX9 )

My gpu1 has been through hell in the last few months, at one point i was considering sending it back, it used to overheat then shutdown when the pc was idling due to windows aero, then the new beta caused spikes and heated gpu1 when using explorer.
Anyways i been following the new Beta's thread over at Nvidia and so i tried it again without explorer and yeah now it's fine and anyways the WHQL ain't expected till September.
UNIT-TEST : i have my case open with a 12" desk fan blasting inside when gaming, without it i'm in the 70s, make sure your fan is 100% when gaming you can use MSI Afterburner for this.

Yeah i used to use a 260 for physX, there are some benchmarks on the web that show massive improvements when gaming with physX games like Batman and i'd say it gives you an overall improvement too, not much but something i believe.
I dunno which slot to use, just trial and error with it, no worries. :P
