skyrim age rating

While it may svck, it's up to the parents how to raise you. They do feed you after all.

Exactly. Hell, my parents didn't want video games in my house at all up until I was around 10ish. My mother took a Super Nintendo I had gotten as a Christmas gift from my Uncle back to the store and got Legos instead... Sure Legos are awesome, but I had thousands of them at the time, and no Super Nintendo... Of course that "rule" or whatever you want to call it, quickly vanished as my older brother started getting a bit of spending money and bought himself a Gameboy and a copy of Pokemon. Also when my Uncle (different one from previous mention) gave me and my brothers a computer which had Wolfenstein 3D, Lemmings, Scorched Earth and BattleChess on floppies. Moral of the story(s)... at least they care enough to pay attention to ratings.

A One Man Army is all it takes to wipe out an army. Unlikely? Yes. Impossible? No. That is why elite black ops commando units are cold blooded, trained to kill their parents if necessary, and don't take no for an answer. Even then, these super troopers rely on silencers and fancy tech.

Yes it does. =/ With subsonic ammunition the only sound you hear from a 9mm, say, is the tap of the hammer on the cartridge.

I'm familiar with pistols and .50 cal silencers, and they do the job just fine. Although Desi does raise a good point with sub sonic rounds.

ok so i went on the skyrim official ebsite and at the bottom it said 18. Im 13 and i have strict parents. so if it is 18 i wont be allowed it. does the rating at the bottom mean it will cus on here it says rating pending?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

As with movies, I don't believe games rate over 18. 17 is the normal minimum age for mature games, as is the case with R and NC-17 rated movies.

Anyway, once you get your money in hand, just have a friend purchase it, or a friend's older sibling. If you throw in an extra ten, you can almost certainly get some random person in the store to buy your copy. Lol.

Good luck.

The real question is why you would decrease the life and efficacy of your silencer by not using subsonic ammunition. :P

I've always wondered if eventually the silencer on a .50 cal would just pop off and kill somebody. Makes me nervous.

It's not easy being a strict parent. It is easy as a child to get huffy and angry at your parents when they make decisions that effect your fun but try to look at the bigger picture. They want you to grow up with good morals and they want you to be happy in life. Kids need structure and they need values. The more and more society allows children to do whatever they want the less respect they have for others and themselves. I know you don't see it now but they are strict because they love you otherwise they would just not care and let you do whatever you please. Tough love is the most difficult love to serve and the most difficult to be served but it is very important. Your future is a lot more important than a video game and I hope that with pondering you will realize just how much they care to force rules upon you. I am a parent myself, I have a 3 year old and a 4 year old. It breaks my heart every time I have to be strict and punish them but I have to stay strong so that they have a bright future. I hope that you can look at what I wrote and find some respect for your parents and the decisions they make for you. When you become an advlt you won't even remember how mad you were when they said no but you will remember their wisdom, think about that.

Pre-Order before it gets offical rating. Then theres no stopping it from reaching you.

Just explain to your parents that violent video games arent desensitizing you to violence. Honestly, video games have actually sensitized me to violence. I have shot SO many people in the head in games that I could never imagine inflicting that upon someone else in real life. I don't get all these arguments that it makes kids ok with it. I know my video games are fake, and even imagining that kind of stuff in real life horrifies me and I would never wish it or do it upon anyone.

Explain that to your parents. :D
