I purchased fonv at best buy and did not know to avoid steam when loading. I tried bethesda and steam neither will anwser. The game will not play unless I am online.Which means I can not play on my comp. I have a wifi connection for my game comp and do not want to run the online connection all the time. Is there anyway that anyone knows how to solve this problem. Yes I know I can leave the router on. I would like to thank you for any and all help.

Switch Steam to offline mode.

This is the subject of steam, but I will reply... in menu steam... "Steam > Go Offiline> Restart in Offline Mode " you will be able to play offline (but will not receive any update, only if you change the Online mode).

It will not do it.I tried I get a message there is no online connection.

You have to go online to let Steam log in before you can access the option to switch to offline mode.
