You should know that J.E. Sawyer has just about nothing to do with Lonesome Road besides perhaps tweaking weapon stats and playing it to offer suggestions.

Except for the fact that he is the weapon designer...

A little while ago he posted a status of "I don't think the Mojave has seen the full extent of the Gun Runners." so I assume we can expect so Gun Runner-Related stuff in Lonesome Road.

Someone created a bozar in FO3 It behaved like a combination Sniper Rifle and machine gun. It zoomed well and fired a stream of bullets in a very tight line but had a small clip compared to a machine gun. You could bring down a supermutant with a clip or two.

At the risk of comitting further heresy, how will it be different from the Ratslayer in any meaningful way then?
I'm guessing it'll be semi automatic and lack a nightscope.

It may look like one but it's not a sniper rifle. It's an automatic rifle. If they bring it back it'll probably be an uber-awesome full auto All-American.

An NCR platoon got lost there and Gun Runners are the biggest supplier for NCR. That's what I'd bet on.

Does Lonesome Road count as the Mojave though? I thought the Divide was more California way.

i was listening to one of Elijas holotapes from the big MT, he says "the old world sleeps at the great divide" and he will deliver his message to the courier there. which makes me think we wont get to L.A., but if we do get there, im hoping for some ocean scenery, with a busted up old beach-house to call home... mabee some weathered 50's style surfing posters on the wall. if not, i just hope at least we find some new Gun-runners schematics.:gun:
