i JUST purchased OWB

And i activate it in the data files and i open the game and i get to the ncr trooper but it dosnt show me any text and dosnt say downloading DLC and i dont see OWB in my steam games and when i gtoto owb in the store it says i have it purchased also i cant skip too the ncr trooper i have to wait through obsidian entertainment etc

Not sure what you mean. I know that it works much the same as all other DLCs in that it comes through a radio broadcast and you have to travel to the Mojave Drive-in.

You are right about having to wait to get to the main menu now, it's really starting to get on my nerves, I actually made a thread about it a few days ago.

Another thing I noticed, Camp Forlorn Hope seems to have gotten a tiny face lift. Also, OWB seems to have made my game quite a bit more laggy, especially when fast traveling to the Big MT and when leaving the sink.

now i just tried opening fallout again and now its updating could that be OWB being installed or something?

That or you missed the patch that added OWB compatibility to the game. I think it should be fine after it's installed, not sure. :shrug:

OWB is the best dlc for new vegas yet. but yes it will make youre game lag ,that is to be expected. :fallout:
