Sacred Bog crash on save

So I've got a persistent crash I can't get rid of and I can't skip it.
My game starts crashing on save after I enter the Sacred Bog in Point Lookout.
It crashes when I save inside, when I go back to Point Lookout and save there, and unfortunately even when I complete the Sacred Bog without saving and save after it. Just entering the Sacred Bog messes up my game for some reason.
I've tried the Sacred Bog Fix on Nexus - http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7278 - but it didn't help at all, it's not that problem.
Searching Google didn't find anything about this issue - I'm surprised, to be honest. I tried to avoid too many mods so my playthrough could be CTD-free - apparently the plan didn't work :(

Oh, and I've tried going there without MMM - didn't help.

Are you trying to take a companion in there with you? If you are, try telling them to wait outside the entrance.

I'm sorry, but that's the only issue I know of that causes that problem. None of your mods stick out as being problematic there. Is your load order Masterupdated? If not, that might allow you to save again. You could try blowing yourself up. Have you tried playing through and going back to the Capital Wasteland to save?

Damn, I can't believe it! Masterupdating actually helped :celebration: And I thought I've read somewhere that it didn't actually help getting rid of CTDs :D
