Concerning Carriages

I would love an option to ride on a carriage in real-time. Although I would doubt it would be in, it certainly would be awesome to see the scenery.
Thoughts?

I don't doubt it. In Morrowind, many fans were disappointed that they couldn't ride silt striders in real time, and one of the most popular Morrowind mods was one that allowed the player to do so. Personally, I think it would be pretty awesome.

I agree 100%. There should be option "sleep" or something that would skip to your destination if you don't want to watch scenery.

That has been modded in now.

Maybe like the fast-travel in Red Dead Redemption?

You find a carriage and pay the guy to drive you somewhere, but you could steal the carriage, of course :P

Which is why they amount to ingame fast travel points. I'd hope carriages were in real time with the option to skip the journey.

All in all it's just catering more-so to roleplayers.

They would serve little purpose otherwise. Hopefully there will be events while riding or the ability to hold one up if you wait at a roadside.

As long as you could skip it, no arguments here.

Oh man that would be awesome!! I would stalk a particular route and leave a mass carriage graveyard and walk away counting the gold I just plundered! :hubbahubba:

Todd has stated that he and many others at BGS are big RDR fans...

Here's hoping for RDR style carriages.
