Wadsworth has decided that parking in the Megaton home bedroom is an appropriate location. Unfortunately, this blocks a cabinet and the bed, which I really need to get into at this point. In Morrowind, there was a command to reset the position of NPCs in a cell--I used it to replace the slowly migrating Silt Strider operators. Does this command still exist? If not, how should I move him about?

A caveat: I can't seem to get the console to work for me. I have the bAllowConsole=1 line in my FALLOUT.ini file, but when I press ~, nothing happens. The prompt does not open off-screen (keys function normally as opposed to entering characters), which apparently sometimes happens. I even tried disconnecting my USB mouse and using the trackpad on my laptop, as someone mentioned that having a controlled plugged in blocked the console.

I'm playing the Steam version of Fallout 3 GOTY, patched to 1.7.

If you use mods I suggest http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14176 . It makes him smaller and keeps him downstairs. Before I found that I use to turn him into a pile of bright green plasma goo in the upstairs extra room every playthrough because he's such a bother

I'm replaying FO3 GOTY on PS3. When I find myself in this same predicament I jump onto the desk (knocking stuff onto the floor), bounce my way to the filing cabinet and then hop over onto the bed. I have the Vault Theme in there and the place is an obstacle course just trying to navigate through it all. After a day of crash and burning Deathclaws and Super Mutants, I guess there's nothing like a good workout before catching a little shut-eye. "Good evening, Madam. What can I do for you?" (You can go downstairs and clean up the KITCHEN, that's what..!!) :facepalm:

Just kill him, drag corpse into corner & pile stuff on top of him to hide your selfish act from the rest of Megaton

Just shoot him and carry him into the spare room and close the door. He will go away after a while.
