An alternative to jet packs in the game-

Anyone who watched the 1993 Super Marios movie knows how they work. Basically shoes that makes you jump super high. However might be hard to control.

It is a compromise with jet packs in the game. I don't think this will ruin gameplay mechanics, and would be perfect in a map designed for it.

Spring-like shoes aren't a Super Mario ripoff, since they weren't the first to come up with that idea.

Spring shoes are quite retro, since they are present in old Warner Bros cartoons and the like.

I rather prefer jet packs... or no, jump packs. Nothing that you fly around in, but not shoes that you jump high with. A jet pack that makes you jump pretty high, but you have to refuel it after each jump.
