I am a member of a clan in which we have different teams. The teams were just recently introduced and all members had to change there nick to include their team name. So I was informed by a senior clan member on how to change my nick. This is what I did and the result.

So I was told to click on make a new account in game when signing in to multi player with the same email and password and that would only just rename my account, not make a new account . So I tried changing it in hopes it would work and it did not work and then the senior clan member said that it must be a big change , so I made my nick name longer and it did work and my rank remained the same and so did my stats but my friends list was empty but the on-line ones were showing so I tried to exit the game and come back in and see if it were the same, When came back to the login screen it was saying my password or user name was in correct. I tried my password 4 times it did not work. Then I did the same thing again, click on make a new account and I tried putting it back to Normal and it got through only to find my account reset.

Please tell me there is some possible way for me to retrieve my stats.

hmmm I think this happened to another person that tried to change their name recently. I probably wouldn't recomend doing it other than the method Crytek posted ages ago.
