Hello forum people,

I am oOopPsS, a member from the Ceph clan.

And i wanted to get some Crysis players better at the game, for their and maybe also our enjoyment.
If you are having a hard time picking the right classes, killing some players or just don't get why the energy bar is depleting drastically fast. Then i am very willing to help you teach some basics (or even more if you are up for it.)

You can ask me by:

-sending me a message here
-Giving me a friend request
-sending me a message on XBL

Just2Blacknish already trained some good people, and i am certainly willing to have him train you guys (if he is up for the task)

See you at Crysis!

I need to slow down when im playing, over the last two day ive been doing terrible. Im starting to get 3-4 more kills than deaths, but I know why now, running to much so I run out of energy. And im using cloak ineffectively, and armour not enough.

I also have moments i am not doing well, for me it means that i need to play around with my classes again, and the moment i find it working, i use it for a while, my suggestion: Try fooling around with your classes, get your head in the game and make sure you always watch your back.

Maybe try to play with Proximity Alarm! It will show you when a tango is nearby and you will be warned.
Keep the rest of your classes and try out if it works for you!

Played with the same classes as you and i can say when you get into P.A. you will see it`s amazing!

Hey I have 2 questions off the top of my head:

1. Do you reload faster or slower while cloaked?
2. In Crash Site, do you get pod points faster depending on the number of teammates in the pod with you?

Thanks

That stuff that went on last night was, how do I put this nicely, B*LLSH!7!

To the best of my knowledge...
#1) Don't know
#2) I believe so.

1. you reload slower in cloak, suggestion: start reloading while NOT in cloak and hit cloak immediatly after attemtping the reload
2. No, you get 30 points in a short amount of time, you do not get more points, and it does not go faster.

Hope this helped

^ right so ooppss it does not matter if it is just you in the CS or your whole team?

Also, everytime you leave the CS, the timer for points resets correct?

No it doesn't matter how many ppl are in the CS.
It gives you points every well let's say 5 seconds.
If you are not in the CS, but your teammates are, and you come in at let's say 2 seconds before the points are given, you get those points in 2 seconds instead of 5. It just a point generator which gives points every 5 seconds to all the players who are in the CS, so it does not matter if you come in 1 second before the points are given.

I was under the impression that one person would accumulate +pts and all others would. Then the overall points accumulated quicker because of the amount of points generated for every tick per every person in the site?

Sia: I counted 8 to 9 pulses last night that we did not get +30 for in just one site. We should have won those matches. we all had better K/D and we held the site longer than all those guys (if you register the amount of time held without being contested.) and yet we lost? I still cannot wrap my head around it.

ooppss, thanks for the info.

bob, we may need to test it out to be sure. I think lag has something to do with it because those guys hosted each game. I was entering CS and there was a delay before it recognized i was in the site (changed from capture to defend). I think that was part of the reason our "pulses" were taking forever to register. And yes, we each had +kd to their -kd, meanwhile they each had at least 300 cs pts to our 150 cs pts average. Plus they kept rushing the site even after death, like they respawned right next to the pod area...it was relentless assault- plus our rockets/grenades/orb strike did not clear the site at all.
