What single dlc is good for my character?

What single Fallout 3 dlc is good for my character and my own ( lack of ) taste? Absolutely nothing like that Dead Money for FNV. I'm all for gimping the character: take unhelpful but interesting modded perks, low intelligence, low endurance, high luck, one weapon skill only ( energy ), no points into sneak, speech, or science. User of Psycho. My favorite battle strategy is to shoot the gun off the enemy and hit other targets while they reel. Kite backwards and fall back if there are too many enclave soldiers while crippling the legs of their Deathclaw Alphas.

Companions are Sydney Companion and Lucy West Companion. But they don't come along when I'm nearing a level up.

The Pitt or Operation: Anchorage. The Pitt has the smallest map while O:A is the most linear. Both have lack sponge enemies and you get fairly good equipment early on to keep yourself alive.

I d say Broken Steel for a few reasons.

1. It extends the game and gives more quests.

2. It extends the story, and shows you what really happened to a 99% There is pretty much no question after Broken Steel.

3. It adds harder enemies throughout the game for replays.

No fo3 dlc is like DM.

Dead Money was a very unique deal...... I happened to really like it, but many people hated it.

Agreed, if you can only get one add-on, then Broken Steel is the way to go. Note that there is one more major feature of BS that The Rook forgot to mention: it raises the level cap from 20 to 30, and adds some new perks to go along with the higher cap. I think that most of the new perks are a waste, but a small number of them are pretty nice.
