downloaded via steam, won't start; "currently not availa

I downloaded New Vegas + the 3 DLCs via Steam, and the game won't start. NV/Steam just give me an error message "This game is currently unavailable, please try again at another time". I tried all the steps outlined here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4595-WEXN-6831

There goes my money...

I have had the same thing happen to me. Right click on the name of the game in Steam and click properties. Then click the "local files" tab and verify integrity of game cache. It takes a few minutes but works after that. Hope this helps :)

Doesn't work, sadly. Whenever I verify, Steam reports 1 file as damaged and re-downloads it, but the game still won't start. When I re-run the verification, I get exactly the same. It's like Groundhog Day.

Same here, and verify game cache didn't help.

switched language from 'English' to 'German' and after the patching it runs. After switching back to 'English" the same problem as above occurs.
