Remember in F3 when you leave Vault 101 for the first time? Everything turned white while your eyes adjusted to the sun.

I think that should happen more in the game. When you are under the outside hot sun for a long time with lots of sand reflecting the sunlight back at you, you should see some glare. Same thing if you look upwards at the sun. Maybe your perception gets penalized a bit.

That is if your eyes are naked, of course. You can wear sunglasses or other eyewear to reduce the effect, but they cause their own distortion (dust build up on them after a sandstorm etc, but they eventually get cleaned up by themselves).

I think Moonshoes would be a great addition.

You can simulate all sorts of extra things in game, the possibly most amusing example is the need to take a toilet break; but after you explode a few times because you didn't take a dump, it stops being fun and ends up annoying.

I guess I will take a different approach.
