Did not need it. The Think Tank had no use to make any advances in Power Armour.

Power Armour was being developed and built by Vault West Tek. The Think Tank in Big Mountain, was there to make new science and new weapons.

I don't see the need to have new types of Power Armour pop-up in DLCs.

Power Armour was also a new thing before the Great War. Early power armour were proto-types and T-45 power Armour wasn't the best. T-51b power armour came out in the last few years before the great war. There would not be many different types out there.

Advanced PA and advanced PA MKII and the crap Enclave PA in Fallout 3 were all created after the Great War by the Enclave only.

If you are talking about Old World Blues then the answer is... While that place did a lot of sciencie stuff power armor was not one of them. I don't remember the company behind power armor, but I know its stated.

It would be like finding the place to turn in Star Sunset Sasperilla caps in a Nuka Cola plant.

I think you mean West Tek Styles.

I remember I once said that only that company developed power armour but I actually agree with this guy here. Saturnine Power Armour sounds like a pretty good idea to me, I mean it's supposed to be one of Big MT's accomplishments, a light - the increased punching speed - and strong alloy and all they make with is it [censored] steak knives and power fists? I think it makes sense not to have seen more Saturnite gear.

Let's forget Power Armor. Power Armor is a Wes Tek thing, Big MT, being jealous of other big companies like House's company. Hence Borous's (him right?) obsession with Securitrons, such as the deconstruction plant.

They should have ripped off Power Armor and called it "Saturnite Powa' Arma'" to fit that funny style. :3

I had a brain fart. Thanks for the correction.

The idea of Saturine Power Armour would only make sense if for some reason the Think Tank had a reason to want to improve power armour. Seeing as they have no bodies they would have no reason to make any advances in Power Armour.

West Tek were the makers and developers of Power Armour. Not the people of Big Empty. They were busy working on SCIENCE!

And yet they had a reason to advance Stealth Armour despite your reasoning that they wouldn't have any reason due to not having bodies?

Also, as someone else has said, it has been proven that the Think Tank didn't care about patents or copyright as they blatantly ripped off RobCo by making their own Securitrons.

Well actually it makes it sound the other way around, Dr Zero says that House claimed that he could make better Securitrons than Big MT and that's why he dislikes him.

Power armor and alot of the standard tech of the day was considered 'crude hydrolic' equipment, Power Armor, robots, etc. Big MT was working on things that made Power Armor a joke. Stealth Armors, Trauma suits and many other things. I'd actually be critical if there WERE power armor in Big MT.

Stealth Suit was being worked on for another reason. They were also working on it before the war. They continued working on it becaue it was one of three techs the Think Tank wanted. I just played OWB and can't remember why, I think it was for Getting into the Forbidden Zone.

Well, if you look at some of the shells at the artillery test site, they're made of saturnite. So they did do more than make kitchen knives and power fists with it, weapons wise. Plus the X-42 giant roboscorpion had saturnite plating, as previously mentioned.

Its toughness does lend credibility to the idea of, at the very least, a variant suit of metal armor made from saturnite instead of steel, if not some manner of retrofitted power armor with saturnite replacing some of the normal ceramics. Doesn't need to be mass produced, could've just been something Elijah cobbled together while he was there, although given his apparent preferences (the... stylish, if ineffective Elder robes), that does seem unlikely.

Enclave PA is advanced PA MKII in lore anyway, not in game stats but in lore advanced PA MKII.

on topic I would mind saturnite power armour, I would not mind any new PA.

What about hardened power armor? It's part of the lore, I don't see why the "lost formula" couldn't be found in the divide...
