Playing on the PC for the first time : III

Hello,

I have been a console player all my life and just recently found a GotY of Morrowind for my Laptop. I loved this game for my Original XBox and have even played it from time to time on my 360. Well, one of the things that interested me in playing for the PC were the mods, specifically a mod where I can get rid of the fog in the game.

What do you think would be a good first mod for me to install? Where can I find, download, and install them?

I can vouch for this. Morrowind Graphics Extender is in that list, and that gets rid of the fog like you want.
